Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS): Electrical Muscle Stimulation therapy adopts a modality that works by sending small amounts of electrical stimulation to the affected tissues in the body. This procedure helps the body for natural process to manage the pain, increase blood flow, and the production of the hormones that promote healing.
Heat Therapy / Moist Heat Therapy (Thermotherapy): Thermotherapy is applying heat to an affected area such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints or combination of different tissues in the body to treat. Its primary use is to help relieve persistent pain associated with muscle tightness, muscle cramp, joint stiffness, and sensitivity of the affected area.
Cold Therapy (Cryotherapy): Cryotherapy is applying cold to an affected area such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints or combination of different tissues in the body to reduce inflammation, relieve persistent pains associated with muscle tightness, muscle cramp, joint stiffness, and sensitivity of the affected area.
Ultrasound Therapy: Therapeutic ultrasound refers generally to any type of ultrasonic procedure that uses high-energy sound waves for therapeutic benefits. Most classically, the continuous therapeutic ultrasound has been used to treat various musculoskeletal conditions and pathologies such as osteoarthritis, soft tissue joints pathology, and myofascial pain.
Class IV Laser Therapy: Laser therapy is a non-invasive, non-surgical, and drug-free healing procedure that can be beneficial for pain relief of variety of acute and chronic conditions. Class IV laser therapy decreases inflammation, and increases blood flow to the tissue and allows for better absorption of nutrients, and it’s especially effective to expedite recovery, after a surgery or sports injury.
ParaffinBath: Paraffin wax bath therapy is a form of deep heating therapy which mainly uses a hot bath of molten paraffin wax to promote pain relief mainly to hands and also improving mobility of the joints by warming the connective tissues.
Rolling Massage Therapy Table (Intersegmental Traction Table) (IST Table): Rolling massage table (also known as intersegmental traction tables) utilizes roller bars that move up and down underneath the patient’s body. This action results in increased muscle relaxation, decreased tension, increased joints flexibility, relieved nerve compression, improved blood circulation, enhanced cell oxygenation, reduced stress, and encouraged healing process.
Mechanical Traction – Cox Flexion/Distraction Table: The Cox flexion distraction technique is a gentle procedure that makes the spine to heal naturally, by using a special table and slight pressure to stretch and decompress the spine, slowly. This method alleviates the pressure that causes pain and neuropathy in different part of the spine.
Spinal Decompression Table: Spinal Decompression Therapy is a non-surgical method of traction of the spine to address the pain and neurological symptoms in different areas of the spine including neck, upper back, and lower back. This traction procedure gets performed by utilizing a special motorized traction machine.
