Headaches

Types of headaches that we focus on include the following:

Migraine headaches: Migraine headache is the most common form of the headache of varying intensity, often accompanied by nausea and sensitivity to light and sound and it causes throbbing or pulsing pain on a prticular area of the head.
Tension headaches: Tension headache is the second most common type of the headache that referred as ‘hatband’ headache which typically is painful around the back, temples, or forehead as if a tight hat were in place.
Cluster headaches: A severe or extreme stabbing pain on one side of the head, mainly centered around one eye and temple that peak within a few minutes of onset and accompanied by symptoms such as nasal discharge, or red or tearing eyes.
Hypnic headaches: A rare headache that can be seen between ages 40 and 80. It occurs exclusively at night and typically lasting between 15 and 60 minutes.
We also specialize in dizziness, vertigo, & balance disorder (lack of balance): When experiencing one of the following, you may feel a range of different sensations such as almost fainting, disoriented, and unsteadiness accompanied with a sudden spinning sensation. This is often triggered by moving the head quickly, or changing the body position from lay down to seated or seated to standing that can lead to balance problems.
