Body Specializations
We cover most body parts including upper and lower extremities, neurological, soft tissue, and TMJ.
Body areas we specialize in include the following:
Upper Limbs or Upper Extremities Conditions:
Shoulder pain or similar: Feeling different kinds of pain and symptoms at various sections of the shoulder joints
Frozen shoulder or adhesive capsulitis: A shoulder condition where the joint is severely stiff or stuck
Rotator cuff pain: The rotator cuff is a group of four muscles and their tendons that surround the shoulder joint
Elbow pain: General pain in the elbow joint that may be caused my misalignment
Tennis elbow: Pain at the connecting point of tendons that surround the shoulder joint
Golfers elbow: Pain at the connecting point of the tendons of the forearm muscles to the inside bonny bump of the elbow
Wrist pain: General pain in the wrist joint that may be caused by misalignment
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: The carpal tunnel is a narrow passageway on the palm side of the hand that median nerve and nine tendons are passing through and transverse carpal ligament across the top of this tunnel
Hand pain: General pain in different portions of the palmar side, dorsal side, or various parts of the fingers
Lower Limbs or Lower Extremities Conditions:
Leg pain: General pain in different portion of the legs
Hip pain: Feeling different kinds of pain and symptoms at the various sections of the hip joints
Knee pain: Feeling pain in the knee joint due to injuries, medical conditions, and aging. Knee injuries include ligament sprains such as ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL, strains of muscles around the knee, and more
Shin pain, Shin splints, Medical Tibial Stress Syndrome: Pain, tenderness, and inflammation of the muscles, tendons, and bone tissue around or near the tibia (common in athletes, runners, dancers and military recruits)
Ankle pain: Pain in different portion of ankle including the inner, outer, and front portion of the ankle
Foot pain: General pain in different portions of the plantar side, dorsal side (back of the foot), or various sections of the toes
Jaw Pain & Jaw misalignment:
TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction): Abnormality or impairment of the TMJ associated with pain in the jaw joint and surrounding structures
Soft Tissue Conditions:
Muscle spasms: Involuntary painful contractions and tightening of the muscles
Sprain: The result of wrench of twist of ligaments of a joint violently so as to cause pain and swelling, but not dislocation of the joint
Tendinitis: A condition in which the connecting soft tissue structure of a muscle to bones becomes inflamed, most commonly due to overuse of the muscle
Bursitis: An inflammation of the lubricated fluid-filled thin sac or saclike cavity located between bone and surrounding soft tissue, bones and tendons, and/or muscles around joints
Enthesitis: Inflammation of the enthesis due to overuse or injury
Whiplash injuries: A neck injury due to a forceful, rapid movement of the neck when the head suddenly moves backward and forward
Fibromyalgia: A long-term or cold condition or disorder that characterized by widespread body ache associated with fatigue, muscle stiffness, and lack of quality sleep
Planter fasciatis: Inflammation of plantar fascia which is a fibrous tissue at the bottom of the foot. This is the most common cause of heel pain
Neurological Conditions:
Pinched nerve: A condition that a nerve becomes compressed by its surrounding tissues such as bones, muscles, tendons, intervertebral disc, or cartilage. This disorder may cause uncomfortable sensations and neurological symptoms including numbness, tingling, burning, sensation, weakness of nearby muscles and joints and radiating pain
Numbness: A partial or complete loss of sensation in areas of the body
Tingling: A pins-and-needles, prickling, or stinging sensation in certain areas of the body
Radiating or shooting pain: A type of pain that benefits in one area and spreads to another
Weakness in limbs: When a full effort doesn’t produce a normal muscle contraction or movement
Heaviness of the limbs: A condition that can cause a heavy feeling in the arms and legs
Sciatic pain: Pain radiating along the sciatic nerve, usually caused by a herniated disk or bine spur in the spine compressing a nerve
Priformis Syndrome: Pain radiating along the sciatic nerve, which runs down one or both legs from the buttox
Tinitus: Ringing or buzzing noise in one or both ears that may be constant or intermittent
